Trickle Up uses their tried and tested Graduation Approach to improve economic opportunities for women living in extreme poverty and to build their resilience to socioeconomic shocks. The Approach helps women to gain both skills to increase the productivity of their livelihood activities and access to markets.
With UNFCU Foundation’s support, Trickle Up will work with 500 ultra-poor women in Guatemala to help them access financial inclusion services. The focus will be on young indigenous women and those with disabilities. The program works with local municipalities to fulfill the financial, administrative, and management requirements to implement its Graduation Approach.
