MindLeaps creates educational paths for vulnerable youth through a creative arts program that is built on data-driven metrics. It serves youth in extreme poverty, refugee children, and out-of-school youth by providing a variety of education initiatives.

Continuing to innovatively respond to ongoing community needs post-Covid 19 pandemic, MindLeaps introduced Girls Get It!, a targeted program for girls ages 12-18 at risk of dropping out of school. With UNFCU Foundation’s support, the program provided 60 young women living in Katwe, Kenya with MindLeaps’ flagship Dance & Data Program and access to its Virtual Academy. In 2025, MindLeaps launched Girls & Women Rising, a program for girls in secondary school to gain access to digital skills training and ongoing mentorship. With UNFCU Foundation’s support, 25 girls who are flourishing in MindLeaps’ empowerment program, will have the opportunity to further their education. The grant also enables MindLeaps to expand its Family Strengthening Program and launch Self-Help Groups for women to start cooperative businesses.
