Education

Education is a fundamental human right

Education opens doors, creates opportunities, and is a proven pathway out of poverty for women. By supporting equality in learning, we can transform a girl’s future, challenge antiquated notions of gender, and inspire community-wide change.

Our Education Projects

Kenya

Developing Future Leaders

Women are underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We’re supporting leadership development programs that offer STEM training for adolescent girls, alongside our partner Girl Up.

Creating Educational Paths for Vulnerable Youth

A lack of formal education means that many youth in underserved communities have limited employment options. We help young adults access online learning and broaden their economic opportunities with our partner MindLeaps.
Uganda

Closing Gaps in Education Access

In supporting the path to literacy and numeracy, we are helping youth supplement gaps in their education from their homes. We are helping to make this learning accessible with technology like phone-based courses, alongside our partner Building Tomorrow.
